Update crashes; no more access to purchased music

I just updated my music notes viewer app on my iPad and now it wont open. I have no access to the music I bought. Tech support closed their chat line. Ill have to try again tomorrow.
Im so frustrated with technology. I was supposed to work on the music tonight, and Im locked out. What a waste of my time.
